About #BlackChurches4Broadband Coalition
Given the pandemic, Black church leaders have become more aware of the need for broadband in order to engage their communities and their congregations, virtually. Several have indicated that they are interested in being part of a #BlackChurches4Broadband Coalition. MMTC will: (1) Guide Black church leaders toward MMTC’s policy goals by educating them about and signing church members up for the Emergency Broadband Benefit; and (2) Activate Black church leaders to support a Permanent Broadband Benefit.
